Built-in combinations – making good use of drawer space

The built-in systems from ritter are already a real attraction in every kitchen as stand-alone units. However, the space-savers can also be combined. Depending on the drawer size, several units can be put together to form a built-in combination. In principle, all ritter built-in systems can be combined with each other, provided that the internal dimensions and other installation requirements (distance between bottom of drawer to top of worktop, sufficient space to the left or right of the drawer, etc.) in the kitchen are suitable.

Since it is difficult to answer the question of the best combination of our built-in devices without knowing the conditions of the kitchen (finished planning), we strongly recommend consulting your kitchen planner to ensure that the devices really fit.

Combinations with built-in food slicer (standard version)

These combinations of devices can be installed in all standard drawers. Please note that the distance between the drawer bottom and the top of the worktop should not exceed 160 mm, as large pieces of food may have to be pushed over the worktop to be sliced.

Combinations with built-in food slicer (high mount)

The combinations with the high mount versions of the food slicers are intended for handleless kitchens with a recessed grip (C or L profile), reinforced worktops and deep drawers (internal drawers etc.). If the distance between the drawer bottom and the top of the worktop is greater than 160 mm, these combinations are just right.

Combinations without built-in food slicer

These appliances can be combined in all drawers regardless of the distance from the top edge of the worktop. These built-in combinations can also be easily integrated into tall units with drawers. The only requirement is that the clear width and depth meet the minimum requirements.

Important note!

The dimensions given are minimum dimensions. To make it easier to operate and clean the appliances, it is advisable to plan a little more generously here. If the distance between the drawer base and the top edge of the worktop in your chosen kitchen is greater than 210 mm, the appliances (especially the built-in all-purpose slicers) can also be underpinned, but this in turn requires more headroom. You can find information on this under installation instructions.
