Maximum speed setting: The hand blender always starts with the maximum speed setting. It is used for most preparations, but in particular for hard food and large quantities. It is recommended for cutting almost any type of food.
Medium speed setting: The medium speed setting is best suited for blending food evenly and gently. It is the right setting between puréeing, crushing and whipping and foaming.
Minimum speed setting: At the minimum speed setting, more air is brought into the food during processing, i.e. it is easier and more convenient to foam up cream, egg white, milk, soups and sauces. The minimum speed setting is particularly suitable for food which must be prepared slowly, such as mayonnaise or sauce hollandaise. The minimum speed setting is also recommended for delicate food and smaller quantities.
