The ritter built-in earthenware bread bin with preserving lid means safe and healthy storage of your bread while granting its natural ageing and full flavouring.

The moisture of the fresh bread is being absorbed by the unglazed part of the preserving lid of the ritter built-in earthenware bread bin and then slowly returned to the bread. The moisture caught by the glazed exterior parts of the bread bin cannot evaporate and thus guarantees the bread to keep its natural contents of moisture for quite a long time.

Thus the bread is protected from early drying.

Bread being a natural food needs oxygen for healthy ageing. Air holes at the sides of the bin do allow the necessary air circulation to take place and thus prevent the bread from "suffocating".

Earthenware is well known for its good capability of regulating temperature changes. The ritter built-in earthenware bread bin with preserving lid keeps the bread's temperature about even. This is actually very important for the healthy storage as bread does request a constant temperature.

The lid bin is firmly installed in the floor cabinet. When opening the cabinet, you automatically also open the bread bin.
